The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between UTM and Yayasan Budi Ihsan Malaysia (YBIM) was held virtually on Tuesday, 4 January 2022 at 9.00 am to witness the official signing of the collaboration between the two parties.
This Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dato’ Sr. Rosli Atan as Chairman of YBIM witnessed by Mr. Zulkifli Abdullah, as a Trustee of YBIM. While on the UTM side, the memorandum was signed by Ybhg. Prof Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, Vice Chancellor of UTM and witnessed by Prof Dr. Rosli Md Illias, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation. The event was witnessed by Prof. Ts. Dr. Abd Latif Saleh, UTMKL Pro-Vice Chancellor, Associate Prof Dr. Sheikh Ahmad Zaki Shaikh Salim, Administrative Director of TNCPI UTMKL Office and Mr. Mohd Najib Masroom, Deputy Registrar of UTMKL. Also present were UTMKL senior officers and YBIM senior management.
The collaboration between UTM and YBIM has been established since the beginning of 2021 with the Kembara Qurban program followed by the Free Meals On Wheels Project and the upcoming Flood Boat Project to help victims affected by the flooding. At the ceremony, both parties expressed their gratitude for this collaboration where UTM can contribute in terms of technological expertise channeled through YBIM to serve the community.
Alhamdulillah, the ceremony went smoothly and ended at 9.30 am with a photo session.
